Malone Earns Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week Honors

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from January 20 through January 26.

Isaiah Malone represented the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) in this week's awards after being named Crossroads League Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. 

Malone was a force in the paint for Saint Francis in the Cougars' road win over Taylor. The sophomore forward posted 20 points on nine-of-14 shooting and added eight rebounds, five blocked shots and three steals. Malone currently leads the league in field goal percentage and is second in blocks with a total of 37, averaging 1.9 blocks per game.
