Crossroads League Announces All-Academic Awards for Spring Semester

The Crossroads League announced its Academic All-CL award recipients from the spring semester on Tuesday, recognizing 533 student-athletes from the winter and spring sports of basketball, track and field, bowling, cheer, golf, baseball and softball.
Robakowski Earns NFCA NAIA First Team All-American Honors

Thirty-eight student-athletes from 28 different schools have been voted to one of two 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association NAIA All-America teams, the Association revealed on June 5. University of Saint Francis (Ind.) softball's Abby Robakowski was named to the NFCA NAIA All-America First Team.

USF, the No. 4 seed on the bracket, first beat No. 8 Spring Arbor by a final score of 9-1 in six innings. Saint Francis then battled No. 6 Mount Vernon Nazarene, with USF coming out on top 6-4.

After a hard-fought battle in the first inning, the Cougars fell 7-5 in eight innings. USF rallied in game two to beat Taylor 14-5 in six innings.
Softball Upsets No. 14 Marian on Senior Day; Robakowski Breaks Single Season Home Run Record

The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) softball team rallied in game two to upset the visiting No. 14 Marian University Knights during Senior Day at Westendorf Field on Saturday, April 26. In the bottom of the first inning of game two, Abby Robakowski hit her 14th home run of the season to break the USF school record for homers hit in a single season. After the doubleheader, the Saint Francis softball team honored its senior class.
