The Hutzell Athletic Center serves as the home venue for Cougar men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball at the University of Saint Francis. The facility also houses locker room spaces for men’s and women’s soccer, baseball, softball, cross country, and track and field, along with the Hutzell Fitness Center.

Coaching offices are located on the second floor of the west side of the facility, providing a centralized hub for several Cougar athletic programs.

Hutzell Athletic Center opened in May 1990. The first basketball game played in the facility took place in November 1990, when Saint Francis defeated IPFW, 66–64.

In August 2008, the facility underwent a $200,000 renovation project that expanded locker room and training spaces and relocated coaches’ offices to the second floor of the west end.
