Athlete Must-Do List
1. Application for Admission to the University of Saint Francis. Click HERE to complete the online application. This application is FREE, and simple to complete. As you apply, you will create a My Admissions Account which you can re-visit to check your application status and outstanding items.
2. Visit Campus
- Set up a campus visit with Admissions at go.sf.edu/visit. During this visit, you will meet with an admissions counselor, financial aid staff, faculty in your program, and you can add an athletic coach meeting, if you’d like. You will also go on a tour of campus and the residence halls.
3. Send Official High School Transcripts, and/or College Transcripts, and ACT/SAT information to:

4. Apply for Financial Aid – this is MANDATORY. Please visit www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete the FREE financial aid application online.

- Meet with the Office of Financial Aid to understand your financial aid options and your financial aid award package
5. Make your decision to attend. Once you have made your decision to attend, you need to send your $150 refundable deposit (fall deposits are refundable until June 1st) to the University of Saint Francis.
- Log in to My Admissions Account (go.sf.edu/new-student), then on your dashboard, select "Respond Now" > "I Accept Admission" > "Pay Now" to submit your confirmation deposit.
6. Register for courses - Attend New Student Orientation.
7. Register for Play NAIA. Please visit www.playnaia.org. This is MANDATORY for all players to play at the intercollegiate level in NAIA.
8. All students (residential and commuter) are required to complete the Housing Intent Form. The university requires all full-time undergraduate students to reside on campus for at least two academic years, with the exception of any of the following conditions:
- You are 21 years of age prior to the start of the academic year in which you are enrolling
- You live with a parent or legal guardian at their primary residence within a 50-mile radius of USF (owning or purchasing real estate within the 50-mile radius of USF does not qualify)
- You are a transfer students who has completed two academic years at another institution
- You are married (supporting documents required)
- You have dependent children living with you (supporting documents required)
- You are independent by tax definition (supporting documents required)
All students who are required to live on campus will be charged the standard double occupancy rate.Residential students must make a refundable Housing Deposit. This deposit is returned after you move out of the residence halls (minus any damage charges or housing fines). The housing deposit is $205. Make your housing deposit by visiting My Cougar Connection (my.sf.edu), and logging in with your student email and under Most Used Resources, visit “Colleague Self-Service” > “Student Finance” > select “Make a Payment” > select “Continue to Payment Center” and follow the steps to the Deposits tab (at the top), then choose the term you begin at USF and “Housing Deposit.You may visit sf.edu/campus-life/housing-and-dining/ for more information about the halls and housing policies. 9. It is MANDATORY that all students have insurance and a physical to practice and play. We will need a copy of the front and back of your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, you must purchase supplemental insurance.

11. Complete all new student items
- Visit go.sf.edu/accepted to ensure you have completed all necessary new student items and forms.
