Cougars Find Success in Crossroads League Championship
UPLAND, Ind. -- In a Crossroads League Championship meet, the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's and women's cross country teams took a trip to Taylor University to compete for a chance of CL League Awards, finishes, and NAIA National Championship qualifications. Alex Ebetino & Victoria Clibon of the women's side both garnered All-Conference Honors for the CL League while Connor Jackson led for his 5th meet this season, running a lifetime best in his final race of the fall.
Notable performances from this meet came from Connor Jackson and Freshman Dylan Anspach, who ended his season with a new lifetime best of 29:26 in the 8k.
The women's team saw great success as well with all 12 performers finishing with lifetime bests and Ebetino & Clibon receiving All-Conference Honors. Senior Alex Ebenito finished in 3rd place with a time of 21:58 in the 6k, and Freshman Victoria Clibon finished in 14th with a time of 22:56. Both Ebetino & Clibon have qualified for the NAIA National Championship meet on November 17th in Vancouver.
