Cougars Fall to MVNU in Season Finale
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's volleyball team traveled to Mount Vernon Nazarene in the Cougars' season finale on Wednesday, November 6.
MVNU won the match by a final score of 3-0, with set scores of 25-1, 25-17, 25-11.
The Cougars were led by Paige Fortkamp with 10 kills and three aces. Teigen Fortkamp and Emily Hughes each had two block assists on the night. Teigen Fortkamp also had eight assists and five digs. Hannah Sweeney led in digs with 13.
USF volleyball concludes the season with an overall record of 11-19 and a 4-14 record in Crossroads League play. On the season, the Cougars averaged 10.65 kills per set, 12.02 digs per set, 2.05 aces per set, and 1.64 blocks per set.
