USF Women's Volleyball to host Pink Out Game on October 16

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's volleyball team will host their annual Pink Out game on Wednesday, October 16.

Eliza Madden, a senior outside hitter and a team captain of the USF volleyball team, had learned that her mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after her freshman season ended in 2021. Despite the personal challenges, Eliza found support from her teammates and the Cougar Athletic Department, which inspired her to reintroduce the "Pink Out" event to the Saint Francis volleyball season.

This year's "Pink Out" event is scheduled to take place during Wednesday night's game against Indiana Wesleyan University in the Hutzell Athletic Center, starting at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of ticket sales, the USF volleyball team will be collecting donations at the door to support breast cancer research and awareness initiatives.
