Five Cougars Named to All-Crossroads League Teams; Gregory & Henney Earn Top Honors

JACKSON, Mich. - The Crossroads League announced its 2024-2025 Women's Basketball All-League honors on Wednesday, March 5, with five University of Saint Francis (Ind.) players and the USF head coach earning All-League honors.

USF head coach Jeremy Henney has been named the Crossroads League Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to an impressive overall record of 25-3 at the end of the regular season, including a league record of 15-3. The Saint Francis team is currently ranked No. 9 in the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Freshman Cali Gregory has also received recognition, earning the titles of Crossroads League Freshman of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. The Convoy, Ohio, native led USF with an average of 15.7 points per game, shooting 50.6% from the field (182-360) and 44.9% from three-point range (61-136), which ranks third best in the league. This season, she has accumulated 116 assists and 37 steals.

Cassidy Crawford and Chloe McKnight also earned All-Crossroads League First Team honors on Wednesday. 

Crawford is averaging 11.9 points per game with a 50.2% field goal percentage (142-283). The native of Tipton, Indiana, has also recorded 162 rebounds, 30 steals, and 22 blocks this season.

McKnight has an average of 13.1 points per game, shooting 40.3% from beyond the arc (94-233). The senior from Bedford, Indiana, has scored a total of 392 points this season, bringing her career total to 1,291.

Isabella Gizzi received All-League Honorable Mention honors and was named to the Crossroads League All-Defensive Team. The New Palestine, Indiana, native is averaging 8.7 points per game, with 47 made three-pointers and the second-best three-point shooting percentage in the league at 45.2%. She has also tallied 99 rebounds, 22 steals, and five blocks this season.

Rounding out the All-Crossroads League honors for Saint Francis is junior Julia Mantyla, who leads the league with a 60.0 field goal percentage (111-185) and ranks third in the league with a 44.3 three-point shooting percentage (35-79). Mantyla is averaging 9.7 points per game and has recorded 28 steals and 20 blocks this season.

USF women's basketball will host the First and Second Rounds of the NAIA Women's Basketball Tournament for the first time in school history on March 14-15. Saint Francis women's basketball now awaits the seeding of the NAIA Women's Basketball Tournament, which will be announced on March 6 at 8 p.m. on the NAIA YouTube Channel.
