Robakowski & Bolyn Earn Crossroads League Top Awards; Six Cougars Earn All-League Honors

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2025 Softball All-League honors on Tuesday, May 6. The All-Crossroads League honors were voted on by the league's head softball coaches.

2025 Crossroads League Softball Award Winners

USF head coach Ryan Bolyn was named Co-Coach of the Year in the Crossroads League after leading the Cougars to an overall record of 21-12 and a league record of 20-16. The Saint Francis softball team earned the No. 4 seed in the Crossroads League Tournament at the conclusion of the regular season.

Abby Robakowski was honored as the Crossroads League Newcomer of the Year and selected for the First Team All-Crossroads League. She topped the league with a batting average of .515, an on-base percentage of .588, and a slugging percentage of .969. Robakowski also led the league with 40 extra-base hits, including a league-high 17 home runs, and is fifth in the league with 57 RBI. Her batting average ranks fifth in the NAIA, while her 17 home runs are tied for third in the nation.

Macie Dowd earned a spot on the All-Crossroads League Second Team. Dowd finished the season with a batting average of .371, an on-base percentage of .399 and a slugging percentage of .686. The junior also had 32 extra-base hits, including 10 home runs and 41 RBI.

Paiton Iliff also received Second Team All-League honors this season, finishing with a batting average of .295, an on-base percentage of .399, and a slugging percentage of .692. The sophomore catcher had the second most homers in the league with 16 and tallied 25 extra-base hits, 45 RBI and four stolen bases. 

Madyson Minnich and Alexa Huth were both named Honorable Mention All-Crossroads League. Minnich finished the season with a .413 batting average, a .478 on-base percentage and a .543 slugging percentage. The junior outfielder also had 12 stolen bases and 26 RBI. Junior pitcher Huth finished with a 13-4 record, throwing 102.2 innings and recording 73 strikeouts and a 4.09 ERA. 

Rounding out USF's All-Crossroads League recognitions, senior shortstop Brooklyn McCord was named to the 2025 Crossroads League Gold Glove Team. McCord made only nine errors on 191 total chances for a .953 fielding percentage. She also recorded 123 assists this season, which is the second most in the league, along with 59 put-outs.
