Bio
Kelsey Passaglia begins her second year as the University's inagural Senior Women's Administrator.
Passaglia comes to Saint Francis after spending three years at Division I Purdue Fort Wayne. In her most recent stint at Purdue Fort Wayne, she was promoted to Assistant Director of the Mastodon Academic Performance (MAP) Center.
While working in the MAP Center, Passaglia was responsible for over half of the student-athletes' academic eligibility and compliance with the NCAA, University, and Horizon League rules and values. She mentored freshmen and at-risk student-athletes in addition to teaching a freshman seminar course assisting in the transition to collegiate athletics. Serving as the advisor for the Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT), she worked closely with athletes to promote campus involvement and service to the community.
Within this role, she worked directly with coaches to be active in the student-athlete recruiting and transfer process. In addition to her work in athletics, she served on various across-campus committees to promote student success and development.
Prior to her transition into administration, Passaglia spent two seasons at Western Illinois University, four seasons at Purdue Fort Wayne, and one season at Central Michigan University as an assistant women’s soccer coach. A graduate of Northern Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree, Passaglia was a four-year starter for the Huskies' women’s soccer team. She went on to earn a Master’s in Health Education at Western Illinois University.
