Cougs Drop the First Two in the Series to Trojans

Upland, Ind. -- The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Cougars took on the Trojans of Taylor University in a double header on Friday. This is the opening series for the conference season and the Cougs dropped both.

The Cougs found themselves down 2-0 after the first, and 4-0 after the third due to some defensive miscues. The offense responded by scoring 2 in the top of the fourth from a Xavier Croxton 2 RBI single. A Kolton Cardenas sacrifice-fly and Brenden Lytle double tied the game at 4 after the top half of the seventh.
