Cheerleading Breaks Program Record at Trojan Invite

UPLAND, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) competitive cheer team achieved its highest scores in program history during the Trojan Invite, hosted by Taylor University on Saturday, March 1. 

In the first round, the Cougars finished in third place with a score of 84.64. Georgetown College secured the top spot with a score of 89.5, followed by Indiana Wesleyan University in second with 88.45. The host team, Taylor University, came in fourth, while Marian University finished fifth, and Spring Arbor University and Huntington University placed sixth and seventh, respectively.

USF followed a strong first round with an impressive performance in the second round, finishing in second place with a score of 87.52. IWU secured the top spot with a score of 89.97, while Taylor came in third with a score of 87.2. MU, SAU, and HU placed fourth and fifth, rounding out the competition.
