Cougars extend Defense of the Fort to now 5-Games over the Warriors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The University of Saint Francis (In.d) Cougars made a short business trip across town to play at Schaefer Center & Kline Court, home of the Indiana Tech Warriors. USF has gone undefeated against the Warriors for the past 4 years, and last night, continued that reign over the Warriors. Overall, the Cougars are now 5-2 and finished the game with a final of 79-74.

USF entered into the half with a 1-point lead (38-37), and then Charlie Yoder took over proving his base-line drive & work in the paint couldn't be stopped. Yoder led in overall scoring with 22 points, 1 block, 2 steals, 3 assists, & 2 rebounds. Joe Reidy off the bench gave the Cougars the spark they needed, finishing just shy of a double-double with 9 rebounds and 12 points. Branden Northern, Zane Burke, & Luke Almodovar all finished in double-digit scoring as well, combining for 38 points.

The Cougars will open up Crossroads League play this Saturday November 18th at Odle Arena. USF will travel to Upland, Indiana to take on the Taylor University Trojans for a 3pm tip-off, following the women's game at 1pm.
