Men's Basketball Lock In Four With All-League Honors

JACKSON, Mich. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind). men's basketball team had several individuals honored by the Crossroads League Conference following the 2023-2024 competitive season. The All-Crossroads League honors were voted on by the head men's basketball coaches from around the league.

Junior guard, Zane Burke, and sophomore guard, Branden Northern, earned recognition on the list by being named on Second-Team All-Crossroads League list after showcasing phenomenal play throughout the year. Zane Burke averaged 15.5 points per game and 5.7 rebounds a game. Zane managed to shoot 50.3% from the field while starting every game for the Cougars. Branden Northern averaged 12.6 PPG and averaging 6 assists per game. Northern was able to grab 4.3 boards a game and shot 48.9% from the field.

Freshman guard Luke Almodovar was named to the Honorable Mention All-Crossroads League list after averaging 17.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, & 1.5 assists on the season. Almodovar finished off the season shooting 54.4% from the field, 41.3% from 3-point range, & 83.9% from the foul line. Luke Almodovar also earned Crossroads League All-Freshmen Team as he averaged 18.9 PPG during conference action.

Also joining Almodovar on the Crossroads League All-Freshmen Team was Isaiah Malone. Malone is a 6'8 freshman forward from LaGrange, Indiana, who started 17 total games for USF this year.  Malone was added to the list after averaging 7.7 points, and 5.1 rebounds while shooting 60.3% from field goal range. He finished off the season shooting 75.8% from the free-throw line. His best game came against Goshen College as he earned 20 points and 11 boards in one of his many double-double contests.
