Tourney Time: Saint Francis Battles Huntington in Crossroads League Quarterfinals
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's basketball team will travel to Huntington University for the Quarterfinal Round of the Crossroads League Men's Basketball tournament on Tuesday, February 25.
The Cougars enter the conference tournament as the No. 6 seed, while the Foresters are the No. 3 seed in the bracket.

GAME NOTES
- The Cougars finished the regular season with an overall record of 17-11 and a conference record of 10-8. The Cougars are currently receiving votes in the NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
- The Foresters concluded the regular season with an overall record of 22-6 and a Crossroads League record of 12-6. In the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll, Huntington moved up five spots to the No. 14 spot.
- USF and HU first faced off on December 4 at the Hutzell Athletic Center, where the Cougars defeated the Foresters 89-65. Five players from the Cougars scored in double digits, with Branden Northern leading the team with 21 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Lane Sparks led HU in scoring with 20 points.
- In their second meeting of the season, Huntington triumphed over USF with a score of 91-69 in Huntington, Indiana. Luke Almodovar led the Cougars with 19 points, while the Foresters were led by Landen Jordan, who scored 21 points and recorded eight rebounds.
- As a team, Saint Francis is averaging 78.9 points per game in conference play. The Foresters are averaging 82.4 points per game in league play.
- Isaiah Malone leads the Crossroads League with a field goal percentage of 69.2%. He is also third in blocks, totaling 46, and fourth in rebounds with 204. Almodovar ranks third in the league with 567 points scored this season and is fourth in points per game, averaging 20.3. Additionally, Northern is tied for fifth in the league with 119 assists this season.
- Huntington's Lane Sparks leads the conference, averaging 22.5 points per game. Landen Jordan has a 66.2 field goal percentage, which is second in the league. Landon Biegel's 46.7 three-point percentage is the second-best three-point percentage in the CL.
