Subiran Helps to Lift Cougars to 6-Game Winning Streak

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Men's Soccer Team reigned victorious again on the road against the WHAC's UM-Dearborn Wolverines, with a 1-0 final. The deciding goal came in the 7th minute from Enrique Subiran. Subiran now has 5 goals on the season. 

The Cougars out-possessed the Wolverines for a majority of the match and out shot UM-Dearborn 13 to 6. Jannik Reiss tallied his third clean sheet and only faced one shot in his 90-minutes played. 

Alessandro Florencia earned the start for the Cougars from his previous performance at Grace Christian University and fired off 3 shots in his 76 minutes played. Jake Bosco also earned the start on the back line for the Cougars along with Bernardo Abreu

The Cougars will return home to John M. Bishop D'Arcy Stadium Saturday September 16th to host the Siena Heights University Saints. USF is now on a 6-game winning streak and will compete against their 5th WHAC team this season where they are 3-1 overall. As a team, the Cougars are now 6-1 overall and only have two more non conference match-ups til they travel to Upland, Indiana to take on the Taylor University Trojans.
