Three Event Wins and an NAIA 'A' Standard Mark Highlight JENNASTRONG Track and Field Invitational for USF

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Cougars of the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) outdoor track and field teams participated in the JENNASTRONG Track and Field Invitational at Wilmington College on Saturday, April 5.

As a team, Saint Francis finished in fifth place with a score of 60 points. Three event wins and an NAIA 'A' Standard mark highlighted the meet for USF. 

Joey Rauwerda achieved the NAIA 'A' Standard in the pole vault, winning first place with a height of 5.00 meters.

Nick Nondorf won the 110m hurdles with a new top-10 time for USF of 15.81 seconds.

Benjamin Marano secured the top spot in the 400m hurdles, finishing with a time of 55.05 seconds.

Hugo Humbert took second place in the 1,500m with the second-fastest time in school history at 4:00.16. He also finished seventh in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.72, earning him a spot on the USF top-10 list.

Quinn Clayton placed fourth in the 400 meters, achieving a new USF top-10 time of 51.61 seconds.

Dylan Anspach competed in the 10,000 meters, finishing in fourth place with a time of 35:17.49.

Sam Htoo finished fourth in the javelin, with a throw of 38.84 meters (127 feet 5 inches).

Evan Pitts placed fifth in the 5,000-meter run, crossing the finish line at 16:03.31, which also puts him on the Saint Francis top-10 list.

Up next, USF track and field will compete at the Indiana Little State Championships hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on April 11-12.
