Cougars Finish 15th at IWU Twilight with Spencer Carpenter Leading the Way

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - On Friday evening the University of Saint Francis Cougars traveled to Marion, Indiana to compete in the 2022 IWU Twilight and finished 15th out of 18 competing schools but also saw several individual achivements.

Out of 240 runners, sophomore Spencer Carpenter placed 13th with a time of 25:25.6 averaging finishing just a split second behind the No. 12 finisher from Indiana Wesleyan.

"Spencer had a solid race opening up much faster over the 8K distance than last year," Head Coach Brendon Moody said of his sophomore. "We still have quite a bit of work to do in order to be in 8K shape especially with our conference."
