Bio
TJ Williams will be in his first season as the head coach of the USF women's flag football program, which will begin its inaugural season in the spring of 2026.
Williams joins USF after serving as the Head Flag Football Coach at Traction Athletic Performance in Fort Wayne since 2019. Under his leadership, his teams made several appearances in the National Football League (NFL) Flag National Championship Tournament and became two-time NFL Flag/National Flag Football (NFF) National Champions. In 2022, Williams was recognized as the Mojo NFL Flag National Coach of the Year.
While serving as the Head Flag Football Coach at Traction Athletic Performance, Williams also worked as a Matrix QB Training Coach for the past two years. Additionally, he was Head Coach for the Northrop High School Women's Flag Football team and was a Bruins Football Coach during the 2023-24 season. Between 2015 and 2018, Williams was the Director of Coaching at The Plex, where he supervised and collaborated with a ten-member coaching staff.
Williams earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Coaching and Human Performance from Indiana Institute of Technology in 2017. While studying there, he was a multi-time champion in the Wolverine–Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) and an NAIA All-American in men's triple jump as part of the Warriors' track and field program.
