
Cougars finish 2nd Overall at Blue Devil Invite
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Women's Golf Team traveled to the Lawrence Tech Invitational back on Friday September 29th. The Lady Cougars demonstrated steady improvement, leaving their mark on the invite.
Team Performance:
The Lady Cougars commenced the tournament with a 347 team score overall between the six golfers. USF finished 2nd overall as a team out of 8 other competing teams.
Individual Standouts:
Bridget Marshall led the charge for the Lady Cougars, posting an 84. Melissa Francis & Ava Warren were right behind her scoring an an 86 & 87 for the Cougars. Macu Chamberlin, Tori Straley, and Mary Jones all finished above in the 90's with Chamberlin hititng a 90, Straley at 92, and Jones at 95.
Looking Ahead:
The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Women's Golf Team is set to continue their their season on Saturday October 7th, where they will travel to Mount Vernon, Ohio for the MVNU Invitational at Chapel Hill Golf Club.
