FORT WAYNE, Indiana -- The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's soccer team prepped for their final match of the season to honor their four seniors. USF fell to the Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Ohio) Cougars 1-0. The deciding factor came in the 25th minute from MVNU's Alexis Hoffman whose efforts were assisted by Brooke Frazier.
Amber Morgan made 8 saves on 9 shots face din her 90-minute tenure, only allowing 1 goal. Faith Lewis, Carlee Biddle, Haley Brenner, & Holly Thomas all recorded shots on frame for USF, but were unable to put one past the MVNU keeper. As a team, USF tallied 7 shots, 9 fouls, and 3 corner kicks. With this result, the Cougars were unable to advance into the Crossroads League Tournament taking place this Saturday (11/4).
The four seniors that were honored prior to the match were Amber Morgan, Maria Givens, Mackenzie Christle, and Kristen Campbell (Student Assistant Coach). Amber Morgan's career stats include: 35 Games Played, 34 Games Started, 2,848:00 Total Minutes, 60 Goals Against, a 1.90 Goals Against Average, 204 Saves, a 0.773% Goal Saving Percentage, 7 Wins, 15 Losses, 7 Ties, and 7/3 Shutouts.

Last, but not Least, Kristen Campbell. Kristen Campbell has been apart of the USF Coaching Staff for 2 years after joining in 2021. Campbell had a career ending injury, but has still been able to give back to the program as a Coach!
