Saint Francis Falls Short at No. 13 Marian
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's soccer team traveled to Marian University to face the No. 13 Knights on Saturday, October 19.
The Cougars dropped Saturday's matchup by a final score of 3-0.
Marian scored a goal in the 14th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Knights would score again in the 47th and 58th minutes en route to the 3-0 victory to remain unbeaten at home on the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Rachel Bova faced 15 shots on goal, making 12 saves on Saturday.
Up next, USF women's soccer (9-3-4, 2-3-2) will host Spring Arbor University on Saturday, October 26. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Bishop John M. D'Arcy Stadium.
