USF Stumbles Against No. 13 SAU
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's soccer team hosted No. 13 Spring Arbor University in the Cougars' last home match of the regular season on Saturday, October 26.
Spring Arbor, who currently sits in second place in the Crossroads League, took control of the game early, netting a goal in the first ten minutes of action. SAU would go on to score two more goals in the first half to take the 3-0 lead. Spring Arbor's defense was able to keep the Cougars at bay as SAU would go on to win Saturday's conference matchup 4-0.
Haley Roberson was able to get a shot off against the tough SAU defense. Kayden Tassler and Rachel Bova combined for 18 total saves in goal for Saint Francis.
Up next, USF women's soccer (9-4-4, 2-4-2) will conclude the regular season on the road at Mount Vernon Nazarene on October 30.
