Women's Tennis Drops Spring Opener to Albion
ALBION, Mich. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's tennis team kicked off the spring season with a match at Albion College on Saturday, February 8. The Cougars fell short against the Britons, with Albion taking the match by a final score of 4-3.
Ellen Reidy picked up two wins on the day, defeating her opponent 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 1 singles spot after earning a 6-1 win at the No. 1 doubles position.
Lauren Korte also earned two wins on Saturday, first as Reidy's No. 1 doubles partner before earning a hard-fought 6-2, 2-6, 10-5 win at No. 2 singles.
Victoria Rodenbeck won at No. 3 singles, defeating her opponent 6-4, 6-0.
