UPLAND, Ind. -- In a Women's Volleyball showdown, the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Lady Cougars faced a tough challenge against the RV Taylor University Trojans, resulting in a 3-set loss. The Trojans dominated the court, displaying remarkable precision.
Key players for the Lady Cougars made valiant efforts, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. Kayla Gumbel contributed with 3 kills and 1 assist, Paige Fortkamp led the team with an impressive 12 kills, 5 digs, 4 block assists, and 7 assists, while Hannah Sweeney showcased her defensive prowess with 7 digs. Ellie Ferris added to the defensive effort with 3 block assists and 2 kills, while Kate McMullen recorded 5 block assists. Jo Delsing orchestrated the team's offense with 13 assists, and Addison Shafer chipped in with 5 kills and 2 digs.
