
Cougars Fall to No. 2 -Ranked Wildcats in CL Match-up
MARION, Ind. -- In a recent women's volleyball matchup, the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) delivered an impressive performance. The Cougars showcased their skills in a game filled with standout plays and key players making significant contributions, but ultimately fell to the Wildcats of IWU in 3 sets.
Caroline Jones led the charge for the Cougars with a remarkable 15 kills, demonstrating her prowess at the net. Kendal Frey also played a crucial role, tallying 4 kills. The dynamic duo of Eliza Madden and Jo Delsing combined for a total of 26 assists, showcasing their teamwork and ability to set up scoring opportunities for their teammates. In the backcourt, Kelby Goldschmeding, Hannah Sweeney, and Alexis Gregory displayed exceptional defensive skills, combining for a total of 38 digs.
Ellie Ferris delivered a strong performance with 7 kills and 3 assists, adding versatility to the Cougar attack. Addison Shafer also made a notable impact with 8 kills, contributing to the team's success at the net.
