Cougars Fall to Trojans in 3 sets
FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- In a women's volleyball match-up at the Hutzell Athletic Center on Wednesday night, the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) faced off against the Taylor University Trojans, but it was the Trojans who emerged victorious in a three-set battle.
The key performers in this tightly contested three-set match included Ellie Ferris, who made her presence felt with 8 impressive kills. Hannah Sweeney showcased her defensive prowess with a remarkable 11 digs and added a service ace to her credit. Jo Delsing contributed significantly with 12 assists, facilitating the team's offense effectively.
With this result, the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) now holds an 8-21 overall record for the season and a 2-14 standing in Crossroads League Play.
