Bio

Scott started his coaching career as an assistant coach with Taylor University Fort Wayne and then served 10 seasons as the head coach. During his tenure at TUFW the Lady Falcons earned berths in eight National Championship Tournaments and TUFW played in three consecutive national championship matches. While at TUFW Coach Haddix became very familiar with several of the programs in the Crossroads League while playing them in nonconference events.

Scott spent five seasons (2009-13) coaching at Northrop High School and was named Summit Athletic Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year in 2009 by The Journal Gazette. He has also served as the District 2 representative for the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association Volleyball Committee and Director of Summit City Wave Volleyball Club.

In addition to his coaching duties at USF, Scott speaks to nearly 7,000 high school students each academic year, providing presentations regarding how to build and maintain healthy relationships, date rape prevention seminars and how to date with a purpose. He presents annually at the IHSAA Student Leadership Conference, the largest student leadership conference of its kind in the United States. He has worked with middle school, high school and college-age students for over 20 years. Scott, his wife Anne, and daughters Alexandria, Natalya and Felicia live in the Fort Wayne area.
