Cougars Roll Red Wolves for 3-game Win Streak

EATON, Ohio — The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's soccer team traveled to Eaton, Ohio this afternoon to pay a visit to the Indiana East Red Wolves. USF reigned victorious with a commanding 5-2 victory on the road. 

The Cougars got on the board first & led by 3 goals at the half. Luis Miguel Parodi opened the scoring for the Cougars off the assist from Enrique Subiran in the 10th minute. From there, USF continued to pour on pressure to the IU East back line & Guilherme Girotto Franco, Enrique Subiran, & Parodi again added to the score line for the 4-1 lead. This is Parodi's first match tallying a hat trick for the Cougars. 

Fabio Leschinsky & Henning Bundschuh also took part in the Cougar attack with assists in the 12th & 85th minutes. IU East took advantage of the casual play in the back from USF, converting a goal before the half in the 44th minute and again to open up the second half in the 53rd minute. Yannik Reiss recorded yet another 90-minute tenure making 4 saves from 6 shots on frame. USF outshot the Red Wolves 19:8 & also had 6 corners to IU-East's 1. 

The Cougars are now 3-1 overall & face a quick turnaround for another match Monday, September 4th. The Cougars will again travel to Eaton High School, to take on Midway College for a 2:30pm kick-off.
