Biddle Scores in back-to-back Matches for 2nd Win of the Season

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Women's soccer team tamed the Concordia University Ann Arbor Cardinals with a 1-0 final on the road. This is the Lady Cougars second win of the season, and first win coming against a WHAC side.

The deciding factor of the match came in the 10th minute from a Carlee Biddle chip from 20-yards out for the go-ahead game winning goal. This was Biddle's second goal of the season and second match in a row earning points for her team.

Amber Morgan came up huge in net for the Lady Cougars recording another 90-minute match and 10 saves on her 10 shots faced from the Cardinals. The Lady Cougs outshot the Cardinals 18 to 14 and had 8 players pulling in 90-minutes.

Courtney Tobin & Biddle combined for 10 shots and Faith Lewis, Grace Hein, Evelyn Harkenrider, Ava Slater, & Holly Thomas combined for the remaining 8 shots. USF also had 4 corners opposed to Concordia's 2. Slater once again held things down in the midfield for the Lady Cougs partnered by Tobin & Hein. Abby Wozny was able to distribute seemingly from the backline and break lines progressing the ball forward to aid in the Cougar attack.

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on home turf at Bishop John M. D'Arcy Stadium this coming Saturday with a 2pm kick-off time. USF will play host to the UM-Dearborn Wolverines for their 5th match-up with the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference.
